TOBRIXA Eye Drop is a topical ophthalmic antibiotic containing Tobramycin. It is supplied as a sterile ophthalmic solution intended for topical use in the eye.

Tobramycin is an aminoglycoside antibiotic used in ophthalmic preparations for the treatment of external infections of the eye and its adnexa caused by susceptible bacteria.

TOBRIXA is presented in a 5 mL ophthalmic eye-drop bottle and contains Tobramycin equivalent to 0.3% w/v, along with Benzalkonium Chloride 0.2% v/v as specified on the provided product artwork.

Tobramycin demonstrates activity against a range of susceptible gram-positive and gram-negative ophthalmic bacteria, including organisms such as Staphylococci, Streptococci, Pseudomonas aeruginosa, Escherichia coli, Klebsiella pneumoniae, Enterobacter species, Proteus species, Haemophilus influenzae and Moraxella lacunata, among others. Actual clinical use should be based on the susceptibility of the causative organism.
