Product Description

PENTA-IV Injection contains Pantoprazole 40 mg, a proton pump inhibitor (PPI) that suppresses gastric acid secretion by inhibiting the gastric H⁺/K⁺-ATPase proton pump.

It is supplied as an I.V. injection for situations where intravenous acid-suppression therapy is clinically appropriate, particularly when oral administration is not suitable.

Therapeutic Uses

Pantoprazole injection may be used under medical supervision in conditions requiring acid suppression, such as:

• Gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD)
• Peptic ulcer disease
• Gastric and duodenal ulcers
• Acid-related gastrointestinal disorders
• Hypersecretory conditions such as Zollinger–Ellison syndrome
• Other clinical situations where I.V. PPI therapy is indicated
